Anita Calero was born in Colombia and came to the United States 40 years ago. Upon arriving in the United States she had numerous jobs, including being a prop stylist for photo shoots which she did for 15 years, and which ultimately lead her to become a photographer. That was 25 years ago and she has been shooting beautiful still-life from her Chelsea loft ever since.
